RGIII says thanks but no thanks to Irsay’s request for private workout

According to NBC network’s Pro Football Talk this morning, quarterback-in-waiting Robert Griffin III declined an invitation from Colts exec Jim Irsay to workout privately for the Indianapolis team.

Irsay attributes the negative response to Griffin’s agent, Ben Dogra.

It’s hard not to conclude that Griffin prefers to play for the Redskins based on this bit of news, however as Mike Florio pointed out in his blog today, it could be that the Griffin camp has decided that Indianapolis will take Luck anyway, so why waste his time with a workout.

Whatever your conclusion, it’s hard not to put this in the win column if you’re a Redskin fan.

About ImproperRedskin

I grew up watching the Redskins with my dad. I feel I've always been a part of Redskins Nation. I'm so excited about the direction the team is taking now. I feel somewhat exiled in terms of the skins living in Boston, even though I know there are other fans here. That's pretty much why I started doing this, to touch base with other Redskins fans across the country. There's always something to talk about with the Redskins, isn't there? I want to hear your voice.
