by Mark F. Pierce

The Washington Redskins released the schedule for the 2012 mini-camps and OTA’s on Friday. Under the new collective bargaining agreement, the number of organized team activities have been reduced from fourteen to ten while the offseason workouts have been trimmed from 14 weeks to nine weeks. The new rules focus on player safety and place further emphasis on allowing players bodies to heal fully in the off-season.

The following is the schedule for the upcoming events.

Minicamp sessions will be held from June 11 to June 14.

Organized team activities will be held on May 21, May 23-24, May 29-31 and June 4-7.

About ImproperRedskin

I grew up watching the Redskins with my dad. I feel I've always been a part of Redskins Nation. I'm so excited about the direction the team is taking now. I feel somewhat exiled in terms of the skins living in Boston, even though I know there are other fans here. That's pretty much why I started doing this, to touch base with other Redskins fans across the country. There's always something to talk about with the Redskins, isn't there? I want to hear your voice.
