Redskin’s OTA’s begin today

By Mark Pierce

Along with most of the rest of the league, Washington’s organized team activities will begin today at Redskins park in Ashburn. The team has enjoyed over 95% percent participation in the off-season conditioning program, which bodes well for how smoothly OTA’s will run.

It will be interesting, to say the least, to see who lines up with the first team. Since last season’s season opening starter Tim Hightower is still technically rehabbing his ACL, chances are Griffin will be handing off the ball to Roy Helu, Jr. Leonard Hankerson is still recovering from hip surgery, so the likely number one receivers will be Morgan, Garcon and Moss.

The Carriker/Jenkins battle should be fun to watch. Carriker just signed an extension with the ‘Skins, and Jenkins will be looking to wow the staff the same way he did last year. More as it becomes available.

About ImproperRedskin

I grew up watching the Redskins with my dad. I feel I've always been a part of Redskins Nation. I'm so excited about the direction the team is taking now. I feel somewhat exiled in terms of the skins living in Boston, even though I know there are other fans here. That's pretty much why I started doing this, to touch base with other Redskins fans across the country. There's always something to talk about with the Redskins, isn't there? I want to hear your voice.
