Thanksgiving football meditation: not so instant karma?

By Mark Pierce

It’s Thanksgiving, a season when most thoughts turn to food, football and well, gratitude. Although there are many entries that Washington Redskins fans could conceivably lengthen their gratitude lists with this year, even some items not named or related to Robert Griffin III, one has to also wonder if some unknowable karmic debt isn’t being payed out here when it comes to the relative health of Washington’s biggest 2012 free agent acquisitions.

The big names–Garcon and Meriweather, one on offense, the other on defense, have both produced tantalizing evidence of their potential, only to be struck down by injury. In Garcon’s case, he is back, albeit at less than full capacity, and in Meriweather’s case, out for the remainder of the season.

Bad Karma? You decide.

About ImproperRedskin

I grew up watching the Redskins with my dad. I feel I've always been a part of Redskins Nation. I'm so excited about the direction the team is taking now. I feel somewhat exiled in terms of the skins living in Boston, even though I know there are other fans here. That's pretty much why I started doing this, to touch base with other Redskins fans across the country. There's always something to talk about with the Redskins, isn't there? I want to hear your voice.
