If there is a game that’s bigger in the NFL this week than Washington vs Dallas on SNF then name it. The NFC East crown, which the Redskins haven’t won this century, is at stake. The football scheduling gods know a good thing when they see it, and they flexed this game into the money spot. I don’t know how I’ll get through the day on Sunday, other than to look to see if Minnesota and Chicago lose, which would get the Redskins at least a wildcard sitting at the playoff table.
No question about it, this is the most significant game in recent Redskins history. For it to be against Dallas is all the sweeter. When I saw this matchup on the schedule at the beginning of the year, I wondered whether it might ultimately mean something with RG3 here. I never could have dreamed the reality up.
